Open Educational Resources
List of quality OERs such as MIT OCW, TU Delft OCW, & NASA SE Handbook, made with insights connected to Nicole Swires & Kate Swires in WA.
Across a range of subjects, high-quality and accessible resources like OERs are often available. Here are some OERs that I recommend and have experience with:
You could incorporate this with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Grok, Gemini, and so on while fact-checking along the way.
Other OERs that can be useful include:

And likely many more college libraries may have a level of accessibility to browse what is available, such as the UC Library Search. Another example includes eScholarship from the University of California with a list of ways readers find their materials that includes several other OER-like tools (as does Penn State), in addition to California Digital Library’s list of projects. There are likely more on an international scale with English translations or dual option of course/textbook materials in English. For example, as noted earlier, Delft University of Technology has an OpenCourseWare too. One organization that overviews a list of these includes Open Education Consortium (now OE Global).
I support experts and their work, while recognizing that a level of accessibility (perhaps more so at introductory levels) exist through OERs that people could use.
